After a serious back operation forced Frank to take a 2 year break from Supertruck Racing, he's finally got the all clear from the Specialist to start resuming his normal lifestile.
Little did the Specialist realise that in Frank's mind it ment "LET'S GO RACING"
Frank & Marie started rounding up the crew to see who's coming along for the ride.
Everyone was as keen as Frank to "Go Racing" so with that sorted out it was off to the workshop, spend an hour moving everything out of the way just so we had access to both truck's & another hour brushing off 2 year's worth of dust.
"All right boy's, hook up the jumper leads & let's see if we can get these 2 started"
Frank turn's on the Ignition, wait's for the fuel to pump up then hit's the start button on #96. After a cough & a splutter she fired up & in the Fate tradition, "FILLED the workshop with diesel smoke"
"Ok, you know what to do" said Frank & with that, it was head's down & ass's up as we only had 3 week's to prepair for Round 1 being held at Winton Motor Raceway.
During the break, Frank sold the team coach to a friend in Queensland so was on the look out for a new one. We found one that would suit our need's only the price was a bit out of our range, "That's never stopped Frank before" After a conversation with Marie, Frank decides to make an offer on the Coach.
"It went something like this....
Frank: "Hi it's Frank Amoroso, I came & had a look at the coach you have for sale"
Seller: "Hi Frank, I havent sold it yet so it's still here If your interisted"
Frank: "We sure are, now you have "$X amount" as the price, I was thinking I'll offer you 1/2 of that"
Seller: "ARE YOU ^$%#*& SERIOUS???"
(well ya get the story)
Needless to say, We now own the Coach!!
